28 Anglers Participate
in Fall Open Bass Tournament
September 17, 2005 |
| The Fellowship of Christian Anglers Society
hosted their last of four Open Bass Tournaments of 2005.
Fishing conditions were tough for many anglers resulting in
only three limits being brought to the scales, out of the15 boats that
participated. However, the top of the leaderboard had the fish
pinpointed and it showed with a tight finish among the top 3 teams being
decided by less than 1/2 pound. But in the end, the team of Tomi
Estes and James Naylor hauled up 5 healthy largemouth to the scales weighing 16.19
pounds to collecting $338.00 for the top spot.
The battle for Big Bass proved to be close as well, with 7 bass in the 4
pound range. Todd Ladd and Steve DeCoursey narrowly edged out
several teams with a 4.70 pounder to collect $75.00. |
