Big Fish and Heavy Stringers
March 31, 2007     You better had brought a big sack of fish if you were looking for a paycheck in this tournament.   Of the 20 boats, 8 had more than 14 pounds of bass.   DeWayne West and John Curtis had the heaviest creel of all with 5 nice largemouth topping the scales at 22.76 pounds, 1/100th of a pound shy of the FOCAS record.  
         Coming in a close second was Kenny Knott and Guy Wiseheart with a sack of fish weighing 21.13 pounds, anchored by 7.06 largemouth, collecting $100 from The Sportsmen's Edge Big Bass Pot. 
         All proceeds of this event is going to fund a scholarship.  FOCAS was able to raise $250.00 for that cause.   Thanks anglers!!
