Finally, a FOCAS night tournament without rain being a factor.
This tournament had already been previously scheduled twice earlier in the
summer. Although the weather was pretty much picture perfect for
the middle of September, the fish were tough to catch. In fact, the
number of anglers was greater than the number of fish being brought to the
scales (8 to 5). James
Shelton and Geoff Baggett registered their first FOCAS victory of the season
with 3 fish weighing 7 pounds. They also claimed the big
largemouth pot with a 3.4 pounder, bringing their total winnings to $150 for
the evening. |
