"Multi-Species" Tournament
|
|
April 28,
2007 The
inaugural "Multi-Species" Tournament was originally scheduled two weeks
prior to this date, but unfriendly weather forced the postponement.
Due to the warmer water temperature, the crappie were tough to find, but
bluegill moved up to the shallows making for an action packed day.
James and Mason
Shelton topped the small field of anglers by bringing 15 of the 17 allowed
fish to the scales. The father and son duo had 10 panfish, 3
bass, and 2 catfish. The team collected $100.00 for their
efforts, including The Sportsmen's Edge Big Bass of 5.96 pounds.
The 17 fish
creel limit for this tournament was taken from these 3 categories:

shellcrackers, yellow bass, & all
bluegill family fish) |
|
5 Bass
(largemouth, smallmouth, 12" spotted
