With 6-8 inches of snow on the ground
for the original date for the first club tournament, this event was was
pushed back a couple of weeks. Although the snow was long gone,
the anglers had to battle 10-20 mph winds and massive waves all day long.
The team of James Shelton and Geoff Baggett claimed to have found a lone
rock pile that produced four of their five fish limit that tipped the scales
at 17.17 pounds, including the biggest fish of the event with a 5.72 pound
largemouth. |
