29, 2007 Keeping a FOCAS
tradition for night tournaments, the early evening was dampened by rain in
the forecast. Thankfully, the rain moved out before take-off and
the skies cleared to be a beautiful, moonlit tournament.
James Shelton and Geoff Baggett took home the victory with a 5 fish limit
weighing 12.46 pounds. The small limit was anchored by a 4.36
pound largemouth to claim one of The Sportsmen's Edge Big Bass Pots.
The Smallmouth big bass pot was caught by the team of Ted Martin and Jason
Taylor. The smallmouth weighed 2.13 pounds.
Perhaps the most interesting aspect to this event was the Optional "Other
Species" Big Fish Pot. All teams threw in $5.00 each to go the
biggest non-bass fish caught in the competition. Look below to
