July Night Club Tourney

Hurricane Dennis provided wet, stormy weather all week, but Friday night
gave way to a beautiful evening of fishing. Everyone
caught plenty of fish, but the big ones went to bed early. In
fact, this tournament provided the smallest fish in FOCAS history to win Big
Bass, a 2.7 largemouth by Bruce and Bob Higbee to collect $25.00.
James Shelton and George Martin took home the optional smallmouth pot with a
2.03 pound smallie worth $50.00, which was one of only two smallmouth
brought back to the scales. In the end the team of Tim Baxter
and Andrew Ladd
narrowly beat the field to take home first place honors. |
