July FOCAS Club Tourney

Boy, was it hot! With temperatures
in the 90's, the 14 anglers that took place in the July Club tournament were
seeking a breeze along with a bite. A few boats did manage a
fish or two in what proved to be a tough bite situation.
Taking first place and Big Fish honors were
James Shelton of Cadiz and David Rose of Paducah.
Their 4 fish weighed 11 pounds 2 ounces, anchored by the biggest fish of the
day with a 4 pound 12 ounce largemouth.
Coming in second was Freddy
Shelton of Pembroke along with his partner Bobby Hand of Clarksville.
They had three healthy fish that tipped the scales at 9 pounds 8 ounces.
