With temperatures in the 100's for most of the week, the members that
gathered to fish the night tournament was hoping that the fishing action
could only be the same! However, most found the action to be
as tough as it ever has been. That would not be the case for
our newest member, Dale Fentress and his partner James Major.
This team impressively hauled in a limit of 5 smallmouth topping the
scales at 16.25 pounds (minus .25 for a fish care penalty). In
addition to claiming the top honors, Dale landed a nice 4.3 pound
tiger-striped smallie to put himself atop the leader board for the Big
Fish Contest.
Ted Martin and George Martin claimed second place with three bass weighing
7.4 pounds, including the Biggest Largemouth of the night weighing 3.87
pounds.
