50 Anglers "Beat the Heat"
in FOCAS Bass Tournament

| The Fellowship of Christian Anglers Society
hosted their 2nd Open Buddy Bass Tournament on Saturday, August 9th.
26 boats were entered with several limits being brought to the scales.
In fact, 10 out of the 26 boats caught a limit of five 15" bass.
Larry Noel of Cadiz and Donald Cordle of Hopkinsville bested the field with
5 fish weighing 19 lbs and 10 oz, collecting $292.50. Two
teams brought in identical weights to tie for second place winning $146.25
each. The 2 teams were Ramie Colson, Jr of Cadiz and Mark
Templon of Bumpus Mills, TN and Norman Turner and Dorris Turner, both of
Cadiz. Big Bass honors went to Jimmie Wilson and Dan Blake, both
from Hopkinsville, for their catch of a 6 lb 6oz largemouth, which cashed in
for $117.00. |
