| On Saturday, September 9th, the Fellowship of
Christian Anglers Society held the semi-annual Pastor Appreciation Day, by
treating the pastors with a day on the water. The Cadiz
Baptist team of
Bruce Higbee and Kevin Roberts topped the field of 8 anglers with two
bass weighing in at 6.19 pounds. Their names are added to the
traveling trophy, in which they get to keep until next Spring! Liberty
Point Pastor Monty Flannigan brought the only legal bass (2.19 lbs) to the
scales to win the Pastor Big Fish Award.
After the
fishing, FOCAS treated all participating Pastors and their families to
a BBQ lunch.
