| On Saturday, September 10th, FOCAS held
the semi-annual Pastor Appreciation Tournament. The Crossroads
Fellowship team of James Shelton and Geoff Baggett held onto the "traveling
Trophy," but not in dramatic fashion. In fact, this winning team
brought the only keeper landed to the scales to claim the win.
The other men that participated were Ted Martin and Norman Cotton of Liberty
Point and Bruce Higbee and Kevin Roberts of Cadiz Baptist. After the
fishing, FOCAS treated all participating Pastors and their partners to a BBQ
lunch to show their
appreciation for all of the work that these men do. The next
opportunity for the trophy to be snatched away will be next Spring.
