On Saturday, April 26, 14 anglers ventured
out into cool, breezy morning in search for a livewell full of bass.
Although none of the teams manage to fill the basket, the Cadiz Baptist
Church team of Bruce Higbee and Kevin Roberts, came the closest with three
largemouth weighing 8.19 pounds. The duo earned the
right to keep the "traveling trophy" all summer. In
addition, Bruce and Kevin took the side pot of $70.00, but they graciously
donated their winnings to be applied toward the scholarship fund.

Pastor Tom Martin teamed up with Matt Boehman for this event.
Tom was throwing a spinnerbait to connect with this 2.64 pounder to earn
the "Church Leadership" Big Fish Award.
